Proposal 570 sailed into reality, bringing a vibrant Nouns-themed public playground to life.
Anchored by a large Nounish Pirate Ship play structure, this interactive corner invites kids and families into the world of Nouns through playful discovery and education.
Proliferation Through Play
The Nouns Playground isn’t just a public space for the community to enjoy — It’s a Nounish hub and many of its visitors first step into “Nouns.”
This iconic build out is more than a beautiful representation of Nouns, featuring Noggles and characters. It’s a jumping off point for new participants as future generations experience Nouns IRL, before joining in onchain.
The Nouns-themed play corner is more than just a playground—featuring:
Pirate Ship Noun Play Structure: The centerpiece of adventure, allowing imaginations to set sail.
Five Nouns Spring Rockers: Each designed after beloved Nouns characters, offering delightful rides.
Two Iconic ⌐◨-◨ Benches: Custom-designed benches embedded with QR codes linking visitors directly to an Animated Nouns Mobile Landing Page.
Dual-sided Information Board: Installed prominently, this board educates visitors about Nouns DAO, its mission, and impact.
All these elements form a publicly accessible space that engages the community directly with Nouns culture. Through thoughtful execution the team has provided a way for visitors to engage with Nouns and learn more as they explore the space.

The Nouns Pirate Ship Playground is open to the public and located on the Ground Floor of Qilin Plaza. Located in Huangge Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province.
Funding, Cost, and Timeline
Proposal 570, titled “Public Nouns-Themed Play Corner“ received $99,853 USDC from Nouns on June 27th, 2024. Details of the original budget and milestones can be found in the original proposal here. The project was marked as ‘complete’ on October 4th, 2024.
The successful completion of the project was rewarded through a follow up proposal, giving the team a Pirate Ship Noun, Noun 164.
About the Team
This playful public installation was spearheaded by dedicated Nouns contributors, Karl and Nic (Noun 74), known for their big ideas bringing Nounish physical structures to life.
