In the heart of the New Mexico desert, just off historic Route 66, lies a new Nounish landmark: Noun 0, a 100-by-60-foot cast concrete sculpture by The Most Famous Artist at Art City.
Funded by Nouns through Proposal 757, this massive pixelated landmark turns digital art into physical infrastructure. It’s a place to gather, reflect, and connect.
A Meme Made Monument
Referencing Noun 0, the first token ever minted by Nouns, the sculpture transforms the iconic Gnome into a walkable landscape.
At its center flows an integrated “pool-like” fountain, turning the artwork into a living social space.
Here, digital culture becomes geological. What began as a symbol of onchain creativity is now anchored in the earth. A Noun you can walk on, climb, and experience in real life.
Built to Endure
Constructed from cast concrete, Noun 0 was designed to outlast us all. It’s a permanent landmark visible even from satellite imagery and one of the largest Nounish structures ever built.
Placed intentionally on the edge of the Art City property, the work invites future opportunities for Nouns DAO land ownership, events, or formal integration.
Why Tucumcari? Why Art City?
Once a bustling Route 66 town, Tucumcari is now being reimagined as a destination for artists and builders. Art City, founded by Matty Mo, is part artist residency, part activation space, and part cultural experiment.

Route 66 Billboards
If you’re heading to Art City, you might spot Nounish billboards along the way. Two custom-designed signs featuring the iconic Noun noggles were placed along Route 66, guiding travelers toward the sculpture and teasing the presence of something unusual and exciting just around the bend.
